Japanese Tulip Tree

JAPANESE TULIP TREE
Watercolor
7x9
$100
Margie Whittington

There is a beautiful Japanese Tulip Tree outside the window at the Fort Worth
Woman's Club where I teach watercolor classes.  Every spring we are
amazed at the beautiful blooms on this tree before any leaves appear
on the tree.  The color of these blossoms are rose, pink and white.
God's color pallette in the spring is breathtaking!!!!

This is so delicately painted, like your brush was floating near the canvas rather than dabbing onto it! I love the subtlety of the colours, and the way you've mimicked the focus of a camera by making the biggest flower in the foreground the sharpest and slightly blurring the background ones.
