Paintings with Plastic Wrap Texture

Both my Woman's Club Watercolor Classes and
The Upstairs Gallery Watercolor Classes have been
experimenting with watercolor and plastic wrap to
create unusual textures.  Some of the textures
created look like trees in a forest, some ocean waves and
others like cliffs in a landscape.
The following are a few of my demo paintings
painted in classes this past week.

"Aspen Forest"
10"x10"
Watercolor
$100

"Ocean Waves"
5"x7"
Watercolor
$65

"Cliffs"
7"x9"
Watercolor
$75

"Forest Reflections"

Watercolor
$75

SAGAMORE BAPTIST CHURCH

FOUR YEAR OLD ROOM
"THE BEACH"

The Beach Mural is the last of four
murals I painted for our church
nursery. It encludes three dolphins
jumping out of the water.
A sandcastle with a shovel
and a bucket surrounded by
shells and starfish.
With the blue sky, palm trees and
ocean you can almost feel
the ocean breeze!

Here are the other nursery rooms shown previously on my blog.

Visit again soon to see what I am painting on next,
a wall, canvas, wood or paper.

SAGAMORE CHURCH NURSERY MURALS

BED BABY ROOM

Blue Skies with White Puffy Clouds

Pink butterflies and Bluebirds

TODDLER ROOM

Monkeys Swinging from the Trees

2 Parrots sitting watching.

3 YEAR OLD ROOM

It's a Jungle Party, a Zebra, a Giraffe, a Monkey

and an Elephant with Balloons,

Oh My!

(The Jungle Party is still in progress. There is a baby tiger in the tree

and a monkey to be finished.)

The Nursery area of Sagamore Baptist Church located on

East Chase Blvd. right off I-30 is taking shape.

One more room after the Jungle room is complete is an Ocean Scene

with porpoise jumping, a sand castle, shells and star fish

and lots of Ocean Palm Trees.

My good friend Sandy is helping me with the murals.

Come back in a couple of weeks to see the finished rooms.
